We are a small, independent studio that was created to serve a diverse community of songwriters and musicians. As the name implies, we are a bit bluesy. We are a bit jazzy. But, that’s not all you’ll find here. We have Americana, country, rock, folk and more. So, who are we really?

Wayne Pearson

Most of the music you will find here comes from our founder, Wayne Pearson. Wayne’s music runs the gamut from blues and jazz to more acoustic Americana. You can discover the blues/jazz side by checking out the rerelease of his 1998 CD, Hopscotch and Other Games. As this page grows, you will find Wayne branching out to embrace a wide range of musical styles. Click on Wayne’s link above to check out his music.

A Gathering of Friends

Our group is a studio band of cowriters and musicians that is composed of Wayne’s friends and family. Wayne is always part of the band but there is a rotating cast of characters from song to song and a suprise or two, along the way. Check out the band with the link above.

AI

So what is our relationship with AI? We are not that close. We are songwriters and musicians. We write our songs. We play and sing our own songs. But, we don’t keep our heads in the sand. AI may play a role in our production at times. There are great AI tools that can be used in the mixing and mastering of music. We use those tools when they help. We can’t afford a resident artist to do our graphics so we use AI to generate covers for albums and singles we release. But, we rely on HI, human intellegence, and HT, human talent, to the greatest extent possible.
